A pink-and-white secret garden theme complete with fairy lights and glass candles was the background for Holy Trinity Lutheran College deb ball.

Horsham Town Hall was the venue as 20 couples were presented to family and friends.

Three of the college captains Janay van Buuren, Phoebe Whittaker and Rebekah Wundke introduced the debs as they were presented, and Alannah Johns, also a school captain, helped with the ball.

Teacher Elsbeth Schneider and parent Emily Grieger trained the debs.

Master of ceremonies, Year 11 co-ordinator Conor Lawson, said the ball created a bonding experience for the students.

"This serves them well as they face the challenges of Year 12," he said.

Mr Lawson congratulated the students on their presentation.

"We're proud of everyone's efforts," he said.
