ALL of the profits from Uniting Wimmera’s Pancake Day event are set to be donated back to the Uniting disability program.
Uniting Wimmera hosted the event at Federation University on April 5 and made deliveries to businesses around Horsham.
Uniting Wimmera team leader for disability Loucas Vettos said the event was a collaboration between the Uniting disability team and Laneway Cafe Without Borders.
“Traditionally we host the event on Shrove Tuesday, 40 days before Easter, however, we wanted to hold it closer to Easter this year,” he said.
“The cafe and Centre for Participation have been great to collaborate with.”

Mr Vettos said members of the disability program were involved in the making, cooking and delivery of the pancakes.
“We had just over 300 pancakes pre-ordered and also took orders at the university on the day,” he said.
“We have been well supported by the businesses in Horsham so we are really thankful for that.”
