Powering on Minyip Recreation Reserve projects

THERE’S been some welcome additional good news for Minyip in the last two weeks, with the awarding of $10,000 funding by the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal that will go toward the upgrade of the power supply to the Recreation Reserve area.

THE recent harvesting of the ‘Burra Ag’ paddock to raise funding for Minyip/Murtoa Football Netball Club changerooms has run to schedule and is yet another good news item for the community involved in a combination of upgrades at the Minyip Recreation Reserve. With critical power upgrades needed to accommodate some of the new facilities, the community has also just won a $10,000 grant towards that project from the Foundation for Rural Regional Renewal’s Strengthening Rural Communities program.
