Pancakes on the menu
Butter and maple syrup? Cream, jam or Nutella? Groups and schools locally are pulling out all the stops (and the toppings) for Shrove Tuesday this year.

To be held on Tuesday, February 17, on National Pancake Day, frying pans and pancake makers will be heating up, ready to cook the delicious treat, which can be enjoyed for breakfast, dessert, or a cheeky snack.
Pancake Tuesday falls on the day before Ash Wednesday, the start of Lent.
It is celebrated by cooking and eating pancakes to use up foods like eggs and sugar before the fasting season.
Uniting Wimmera are celebrating Pancake Day with a community event at May Park.
But for those who have to work, they've covered all options, with business packs available for purchase.
A business pack includes 10 fresh pancakes (ready to warm), cream, and jam, and will be delivered in the afternoon on Monday, February 16.
Every pack purchased helps raise funds for mental health programs in the Wimmera.
Orders can be placed by visiting Uniting Wimmera's Facebook page and following the link.
Local colleges and schools are also getting prepared for the day, with the VCE Accounting class at St Brigid's College running a business as a part of their studies to prepare and serve pancakes to staff and students.
All funds raised will be donated to Caritas, a charity focused on confronting the challenges of poverty.
Likewise, Ss Michael and John's Primary School will also be flipping sweet treats, with their pancakes served at recess.
And finally, the junior school section of Wimmera Lutheran College's Horsham Campus will enjoy the savoury snack in conjunction with learning about Shrove Tuesday and Lent.
