Issi Dye is ready to hit the Warracknabeal Town Hall stage this Friday with his rock n' roll show.

Dye will return to Warracknabeal this week for the second time in a year, with the first show, back in May 2025, being a morning performance.

"We did a daytime show last time in Warracknabeal; it was like a morning melodies thing, and everyone kept asking if we could do a rock and roll dance night for everyone," Dye explained.

"The entire idea is to bring people out on a Friday night and remind them that the good old 60's rock and roll is what we love to do.

"It's certainly a night for dancing, and I'll also be paying tribute to some great Australian artists, including Johnny O'Keefe and Col Joye, but also, we'll be singing songs of Elvis, Buddy Holly and Johnny Cash.

"It'll be all the music of the '50s, '60s and a little bit of the '70s thrown in with a little bit of Sweet Caroline, as you have to do."

Dye, one of Australia's leading original carabet stars, has been in the industry for more than 60 years.

Last May, he performed at Warracknabeal Town Hall for the first time, presenting his Legends of Rock N Roll show, but on Friday, March 20, he'll be back with the "Issi Dye Show'.

Dye is now a performer in his own right, after supporting numerous big performers including John Farnham, Roy Charles, The Beach Boys and The Supremes.

He also hosted his own late-night television show on Channel 9 and 10 networks in Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney in the 70s and 80s.
