Fresh Natimuk too strong for Edenhope

Coming off a round five bye, Natimuk United produced a comfortable victory over Edenhope Apsley on Saturday in round six of the Horsham District Football Netball League.

Natimuk scored two goals within the first five minutes and never looked back, with the final score being 11.15 (81) to 2.6 (18). 

Playing at Natimuk Showgrounds, the home side blew out to a 37-point half-time lead before Edenhope Apsley were able to slow down the victors before succumbing to the 63-point loss. 

Adam Coutts and Mitchell Clarke were two of Natimuk’s best, while for the losing side, Adam Hood and Ryan Obst were standouts. 

Natimuk’s Adrianne Lupton ended with five majors, while Angus Wood and Josh La Rocca kicked Edenhope’s goals. 

The result sees Natimuk elevate to two wins and maintain eighth place on the league ladder. 

Edenhope Apsley are currently bottom of the table without a win as they await a rest with a round seven bye.
