CWA learn about mental health
Willenabrina CWA members and several guests enjoyed a very informative afternoon with Justin Knorp as guest speaker at their April meeting.
Justin told us about his early life experiences that have brought him to his work in the mental health area.
He spoke of the importance of being socially active and speaking about problems.
Justin runs several programs in Warracknabeal aimed at keeping both Men and Women active and connected.
Members held a minutes silence to remember Lois Kasper who was a member of the branch for some years.
The competition for the day was “An Elegant Table Setting” this was won by Kirsty Keys, second Julia Hausler and third Elaine Quick.
Best bloom was won by Elaine Quick, second Carol Clarke and third Beverley Peart.
Several members are planning to represent the Branch at State Conference to be held at the Melbourne Showgrounds at the end of May.
The raffle for the day was won by guest Nola Hadley.
