Judah Hobbs led the winning side with seven goals as Noradjuha Quantong beat Harrow Balmoral 13.9 (87) to 8.4 (52).

The opening term was tightly contested, with Harrow's kicking accuracy helping them get a 25-21 lead after the first quarter.

But Noradjuha Quantong dominated the second quarter, using their speed and ball movement to create open space, leading to six goals, as they entered half-time up 59-32.

Strong defensive pressure and impressive goalkicking saw Harrow claw back into the contest, lowering Noradjuha's lead (66-51) heading into the final term.

The Bombers proved why they should sit at the top of the table as they finished out the game strongly on both ends, including three goals from Hobbs.

In addition to maintaining their first-place position on the ladder, Noradjuha Quantong is now the only undefeated side of the 2025 season.

Cameron was excited to beat Harrow, while also recognising that more work needed to be done.

“It’s a great feeling to get the win over Harrow,” Cameron said.

“What’s exciting is that we could have played better, there are improvements we can make.”

The best players on the field for Noradjuha Quantong were Hobbs and Declan Phyland while Harrow Balmoral’s best players were Clinton Robinson and Peter Staude.

Noradjuha Quantong's Brock Orval kicked four goals to go along with Hobbs' seven.

Robinson kicked four majors for Harrow.

Cameron spoke highly of the offensive unit, which put in another fine performance.

“Judah Hobbs, Brock Orval, Jordan Shelley and Jye Walters, they are a great unit and they each offer something a bit different.”

“Judah, he came into seniors last year and kicked 70-odd goals and he’s continuing that form again this year.”

The result ends Harrow Balmoral’s impressive streak, which included their back-to-back premiership in 2023 and 2024.

Despite the loss, Jai Thompson, Harrow Balmoral’s coach, is not too despondent about the team losing their impressive winning streak.

“The streak was nice but a premiership is what is actually important to me,” Thompson said.

“It’s good that the league is more competitive and hopefully we can take something out of the loss.”
