Homers move to third
The Homers have moved to third on the C-grade ladder in the Horsham Cricket Association with a comfortable 45-run win over Natimuk at Sunnyside Recreation Reserve.

After winning the toss and batting, the Homers were bowled out for 171 in the 39th over. Ben Williamson top scored with 47, with Matt Arnel, 28, and Charlie Hopper, 27, also contributing.
Jack Crute was the pick of the Natimuk bowlers with 4/19 (7). Hunter Schmidt also bowled well, taking 3/26 (6).
In reply, Tyler Coutts made 34 for Natimuk, and even though there were some good contributions, one of which was through Alan Kuriakose with 21, the Homers' bowling was too good, bowling Natimuk out for 126 in the 33rd over.
Jack Arnel was the pick of the Homers bowlers with 3/25 (6). Hugh Miller, another youngster, took 2/11 (5).
At Dudley Cornell Park, Laharum moved to equal top on the ladder with a high-scoring 17-run win over the Horsham Tigers.
After winning the toss and batting, Laharum finished with 8/231 off their 40 overs, with Lewis Hofmaier starring with 64.
Joel Plazzer was the pick of the Tigers bowlers with 3/21 (7).
Despite losing Plazzer for a duck early, the Tigers battled well, with Ash Britton top-scoring with 50 and Archie Knight scoring 36.
They fought and finished on 9/214, with Anderson Brown unbeaten on 28. Archie Watt was the pick of the Demons bowlers with 3/25 (7).
At Davis Park in Nhill, the Warriors have stunned ladder leaders Lubeck Murtoa to win by 33 runs.
After winning the toss and batting, the Warriors were bowled out for 139 in the 39th over, with Ashley Dickinson scoring 54 and Glen Treverton scoring 31.
Lewis Gellatly was the star for the Mudlarks, taking a five-wicket haul and finishing with figures of 5/20 (5).
In reply, the Warriors struck early and regularly, and it was Glen Treverton 3/20 (7), Nate Prenzler 2/15 (5), and Ashley Dickinson 2/6 (5) doing the damage.
Alby Kingston and Lewis Gellatly both scored 19 for the Mudlarks.
