In Hailey Puls 50th match for the club, the senior team lost 4.5.29 to 1.2.8. It was a tight battle throughout the four quarters with the scoreboard not reflective of the contest.

Tatiarna Nelson was the goalscorer for the Demons with Vanilla Ike and Holly Nuske continuing their rich vein of form as the best players on the day alongside Dellie Brown, Holly Smith, Madeleine Huggins and Tahlia Barnett.

Soraya Kearney-Knox was the only multiple goal kicker on the ground with two goals for the Roosters.

The Under-18 girls were undermanned with the 12.25.97 to 1.1.7 scoreline reflective of that. Despite that, the girls played their hearts out and put everything on the line.

Amba Zolj kicked their solitary goal in the third quarter and was one of the best alongside Charmaine Lockwood, Poppy Peters, Tayla Hudson, Lara Purchase and Abbey Wiedermann.

Lila Evans kicked three goals for the Roosters with Nikki Clover and Tahlia Vesey kicking two a-piece.

The Demons face Cavendish in round four on Sunday.
